Glossary

Cell — one plot of land on the world sphere, owned as a Land NFT. Holds deposits and at most one building.

Reveal — exposing a cell's hidden resource deposits, generated deterministically from the cell itself. The first reveal is free; re-revealing a depleted cell is paid.

Deposit — a quantity of one raw resource beneath a cell, fixed at reveal. Mined by an extractor; never moves.

Resource — a tradable good. Raw resources (12) are mined; refined resources (5) are crafted; WCPU is forged.

Rarity — a raw resource's tier: Mass (common, large deposits), Industrial (medium), Strategic (rare, small).

Extractor — a building that mines one resource from a cell's deposit.

Hub — a building that enables trade and relays transport farther than an ordinary cell.

Mining — a bounded job on an extractor: start it with a batch count, then claim whole cycles as they mature. It ends at the schedule or when the deposit is depleted, whichever comes first.

Claim — banking accrued mining output, or collecting matured craft outputs. Free and instant.

Recipe — a rule turning inputs into outputs over a duration. Refine recipes are free (tier 2); the Forge is paid (tier 5).

Batch — one run of a recipe. Inputs for all queued batches are debited upfront; batches mature one duration apart.

Mode — the output a building is pointed at: the resource an extractor mines, or the recipe a crafter runs. Free to set on the first pick after building; changed thereafter by paying the Switch cost. Survives an upgrade, cleared on demolish.

Switch cost — the $CPU burned to point a building at a different output than its current Mode; 25% of that building's own build cost. Restarting the same output stays free. A building with only one possible output has no Switch cost at all.

Tier — a building/recipe level. Only tier 1 buildings and tiers 2 and 5 recipes exist today.

Power — the universal operational input (a refined resource) consumed by higher recipes.

WCPU (Winning CPU) — the victory output, produced only by the CPU Forge, withdrawable 1:1 to $CPU.

$CPU — the on-chain action currency (ERC-20, burnable). Deflationary by design.

CPU Forge — the tier-5 recipe that produces WCPU; the only paid recipe and the sole WCPU source.

Transport — moving a resource balance between cells along a chain of hops. Free through your own cells, paid through foreign hubs.

Relay reach — how far one transport hop can span; a hub reaches farther than an ordinary cell.

Lot — a quantity of a resource listed for sale at a hub at a price per unit, held in escrow.

Quote — a non-destructive preview of a paid action's validity and exact cost (transport or buy).

CPUHook — the immutable Uniswap v4 hook that buys back and burns $CPU from land-sale revenue and routes swap fees.

SIWE — Sign-In With Ethereum; the wallet-signature login an agent uses to open a session.
